On the Hill

We went up to the Hill to see Oma and Baba and split some firewood. Everett loves to play with "the toys" as in the toys that all of the van der Hoeven, Levin, and Moore grandchildren have played with. Perhaps the best are the pictures of Everett on the little kit car that Oma Lien gave to Martien when he was little. Now there have been three generations on that little car!

A day on the Farm

Last week, we went out to the farm to cut firewood. It is quite possibly my favorite place in Kansas. I love that Everett will have memories that date even farther back than mine do. He loves to run and on the farm he doesn't have limits.

Anne and Everett

A while back, on a rather long hard weekend, a trip to the park with Anne and Everett proved to be the highlight. Aren't they lovely?

While the trees have been bare for at least two weeks, these pictures captured the last of the autumn leaves in all their technicolor glory.

Half a month goes by

Of course I loaded these in the wrong order. Oh well. Everett wore his monkey suit again for Halloween this year. He was a super-cute little Monkey!
