Spider Monkeys, Jungle Gyms, and Monday Evening at the Park

In our typical Monday fashion we spent the late afternoon and evening at the park. Everett made some new friends (not pictured) and a lovely time was had by all!
For Everett, the best part of the park is being able to Run, Run, Run. And yes, it did need to be capitalized. Thankfully this park is enclosed, because just beyond the equipment is a large fishing pond. Someday, we will give it a try, just not yet.
Evie still prefers the challenge of climbing up the slide. It apparently makes the reward of sliding down that much better.
He also likes to give mommy and daddy new grey hair by climbing as high as he possibly can. He is without a doubt, part spider-monkey.
Trust me, it is much taller than it looks.
Likewise with this pole. His dad insisted that I hold the camera and not freak out. Easier said than done.

Start at the bottom and work your way up.
Everett also loves the swings. He and Russ created a game that essentially involves Russ pretending to get hit by Ev as he swings forward. It provided lots of entertainment.
Silly boys.
Evie still insists on trying every swing on the playground. Because, it might just be better on the next one!
And like any kid, he likes to go as high as he can.

See, even Beatrice enjoys the park. Although Russ and I did start discussing strategies for when she is on the outside. I think wearing her is my best bet for a while.
