beauty all around

This year I feel like my awareness of color has intensified. I am sure there is some sort of narcissism that addresses this feeling of superior senses, but every where I look I see the most beautiful combinations of tone and textures. When Everett and I take our walks, even the swirls of gravel or the dried brown grass inspires me. Kansas isn't known for it's colorful fall displays, at least not in the same way that the East Coast is. But, for me (having lived in both) I can't express how amazing the subtle purple, reds, golds, and browns are against the painfully, bright blue sky.
