These giant feet belong to a concrete statue of Johnny Kaw--a Kansas tall tale. He has been the park guardian for as long as I can remember, and Kit, Derek, and I all played around and on him too.
Russ brought me flowers the other day, and Everett has been quite taken with them. Such a funny boy.

Yay for City Park! Yay for an extra boys-day! I think you might be the only family that enjoys Mondays this much! For the rest of us, they can be the sharp reality at a fun weekend's end.
