high summer

At the most recent tally, my kids have eaten close to 200 popsicles this summer, or close to it! Nothing like frozen, technicolor sugar water when the temperature has hovered above 100!

Our sunflowers. Grown from seeds these beauties are about 9 feet tall!

Homemade shortcake with strawberries and real, homemade whipped cream--that almost became butter.

Rasberry crisp with coffee, another summer breakfast delight.

The time we have had together is more precious because of its scarcity.

We play tea party all day. Breakfast, noon, and night. Always time for a cuppa.
