Favorite Memories From our Kansas Christmas

These pictures are a bit out order. Apologies. We celebrated Christmas first in Kansas and then in North Carolina with my family. I will continue to load pictures, but here are a few from our Kansas celebration and the days around it before we headed east.

Grandma Jan gave both kids super hero capes and masks. Which are now an almost daily feature in racing through the house!

A wooden stroller, from mama and daddy for Bea and her babies. She mostly takes them to the "park" and to playdates.

I was sure this would be a big hit in the airport--it is a backpack. I was wrong. But it is still pretty cute.

We got our first snow a few days before we left. It was beautiful and cold and wonderous. Perfectly enough--these pictures were taken about an hour after it started. It eventually accumulated about 4 inches.

E is very into snow angels this year.

His favorite gift? Wall tracks. Russ being the most amazing dad, went to four stores to find the starter kit. It has been worth it!

We were a little sad that our tree didn't last very long this year. But we did put it up before December 1st.

We are so blessed. This Christmas, like last was different than planned, but still an incredible time of joy, family, and wonder. Thank goodness for pictures because it flew by!
